Camp Ronald McDonald at Eagle Lake

Send a Kid to Camp

Dear Friend:

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have super-powers? What if you really could scale tall buildings in a single bound? What if you were capable of single handedly saving mankind from its evil destruction? What if you could change all the world's wrongs with your superhuman strength? Seems like something out of a comic book doesn't it? But it is not. It is simply a description of our heroes that come to Camp Ronald McDonald at Eagle Lake every summer.

Camp Ronald McDonald at Eagle Lake is a residential summer camp for children with various disadvantages and/or disabilities; yet, the most courageous and forthright abilities. Camp offers an even playing field for all - despite any challenges or disadvantages. Here all our heroes soar on bikes, swim in the lake, paddle in canoes, catch fish, shoot archery, take hikes, sing songs, play games and roast marshmallows – all in an environment which enhances their gifts, their super powers, and teaches us, the mere mortals, how to live.

This is your chance to assist and join the elite club of Camp Ronald McDonald at Eagle Lake Super Heroes by donating a gift of $200. This gift will provide a young hero struggling to overcome challenges with a week of magical camping moments. A week of building self-esteem and confidence. A week to save the world!

This gift of $200 covers the costs for one camper for one week. Your gift of any amount will help and all donations are appreciated. Simply send your donation in the enclosed envelope and we will see to it that you will support the super-powers of a super camper!

Together we can continue to make Camp Ronald McDonald at Eagle Lake a 'special place for special kids' and foster the super powers we all have.

Sincerely,
Catherine Ithurburn
Executive Director

P.S.
Your gift of $100, $50 or even $25 will go a long way in making a difference in the life of a child with special needs.

Subsidizing this program includes purchasing new life jackets, floating devices, water toys, and water sports equipment every summer.
